BELIEF STATEMENT
"We believe all children can learn through a differentiated and enriched environment. All children can learn in a safe/comfortable learning atmosphere. Through the teamwork of parents and children and the school community, we will attain academic success."
Hills-Hendersonville School is one of five elementary schools in the Canon-McMillan School District. It is an inclusive K-4 neighborhood school serving students from the Lawrence, Canonsburg and Bridgeville areas. It is located twenty miles south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania within Cecil Township. Our school is home to approximately 250 students.
Hills-Hendersonville School has a very active PTA (Parent Teacher Association). They sponsor many school activities including: Book Fair, Box Tops for Education, classroom parties, Bingo Family Night, Fitness Day, Holiday Shop, Pumpkin Patch and much more. Their dedication to the students helps enrich the learning experience.
Both the community and staff play an active role in our school. Together they work to support academics as well as the development of the whole child.
At Hills-Hendersonville Elementary School we pride ourselves on the fact that elementary educations is the foundation for life-long learning.
